Health & Wellbeing Week

Wellbeing in the workplace is crucial for both employee and organizational success. Prioritizing employee well-being leads to increased productivity, improved morale, reduced absenteeism, and a stronger employer brand. It also helps attract and retain talent in a competitive job market. Ultimately, a healthy and happy workforce contributes to a more successful and sustainable organization.

A huge thank you to all staff for taking part in Health and Wellbeing Week last week — it was a great success!

We had fantastic engagement in the Ruth Gallagher Creative Sound sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning and afternoon. It was great to see you all laughing, moving, and participating.

We enjoyed healthy fruit, tea, and granola bars daily and enjoyed yet another delicious Country Bistro lunch on Thursday.

We asked in the quiz:

“What’s your favourite way to destress after a long day?” — here’s what you shared:
• Walking – 29%
• Movie or Music– 28%
• Meditation/running/reading 16%
• Sleep – 13%
• Family time – 6%
• Chatting with friends – 5%
• Cycling/fishing/gardening – 3%

It’s wonderful to see the variety of ways people unwind and prioritise wellbeing.
